BCT are pleased to announce that their Sprint Tri in April is being supported by Drip Drop Sport. We realise that most of you will not have heard of this product as they are very new to the market, having just launched in 2012.

Drip Drop Sport is an Oral Rehydration Solution that combines 2-3 times the level of salts of regular sports drinks with a great taste.

Andy received two lovely messages from Carol and Jean Shinton that we’d like to share.

Morning Andy, as I remember Gray today, I just want to say thank you to you and all at the b.c.t who have shown their love and support for us.

Looking back its hard to believe what happened that day but you were all so good to me that it all helps with the healing process.

Thank you for continuing to keep Grays memory alive.x.

Black Country Triathletes Memorial Ride 25th March.

Black Country Triathletes. Memorial Ride 25th March.

Start at Wombourne leisure centre
Finish at The Halfpenny Vineyards Craft Centre.

Group 1 – Start 08:00 46 miles 18mph average led by Andy
Group 2 – Start 08:30 37 miles 16mph average led by Kevin Duckworth.
Group 3 – Start 09:00 25 miles 12mph average led by Michelle

We have 3 organised groups for the club ride with group leaders who will ensure the group pace is maintained and the group sticks together.

Youth and TS3 juniors are welcome but should be accompanied by a parent or nominated adult to ensure their safety and well being.

The staggered start times are to enable us to get to the vineyards cafe rooms for 10.30-11.00. You are of course welcome to ride the memorial route on your own, meeting up at the cafe afterwards if you wish.

What a day!

It rained before and it hailed afterwards, but it was glorious sun shine for race time!

A huge thank you to everyone who raced, helped, took photographs, spectators, cake makers, beer suppliers, all the sponsors and everyone who played a part in the inaugural Apley Estates run.

It seems like everyone loved the location & scenery, even the hills apparently, and the feedback has been fantastic so plans are already afoot for part II.
