Cross Country Race 3 Report

Burbage Common Cross Country Report.

The third of this season's cross country runs was held on 16th January at Burbage Common near Hinckley.  We started the day in 11th place in division three and were hoping to at least maintain this position.

The race had 154 athletes competing, of which there were five from BCT and one guest runner.  We therefore only just made up a team.

Our six scoring runners scored 479 points and and finished 14th out of 18 teams.  Our running total after three races is 1268 points and we are still in 11th place.

The next cross country race is a local one at West Bromwich on Saturday 13th February, so please make a good effort to attend to finish the season with a flourish.
